LIVE gifts
The most widely available route. Once you hit the follower threshold, viewers can send gifts during a live stream which convert to diamonds and then to cash. Payout methods vary, so check which ones work for your country before you build a strategy around it.
Creator Rewards Program
Pays for videos over a minute long based on qualified views. It is limited to a set list of countries and that list changes. If you are not eligible, the workaround many creators use is not a workaround at all: it is brand deals.
TikTok Shop
Shop is expanding, but the seller side requires a registered business in a supported market. Affiliate commissions are the more accessible entry point where they exist.
Brand deals remain the real income
For most creators outside the supported markets, the platform is a distribution engine and the money comes from brands, not from TikTok. Build a media kit, track your analytics, and price by results rather than followers.
